Mosquito AAA win gold in Miramichi

The Braves went 3-1 in the round robin portion of the seven team tournament.
They then defeated Riverview 10-0 in the semi's before avenging their round robin loss by defeating Bridgewater 13-4 in the all NS final game. The Chebucto and Conrose associations should be very proud of the boys as they represented us very well on and off the field!
The weekend before the NB trip the team won the Bedford Days Mosquito AAA tournament. They went 3-0 in the round robin portion of the tournament before defeating Tri County in the semis and then Bridgewater in the finals. The Braves pitching was terrific and the defense was near flawless as the team gave up a total of six runs in the five games played.
Both tournament wins were total team efforts with all players contributing in big ways over the course of each tournament. Head Coach Sandy Stackhouse and Assistants Mike Ritcey and Jeff Keeler are very proud of all the players and their hard work so far this season.
