Batting Clinics

Batting clinics are being organized from March 6th to April 10th at the Full Gospel Church at the Hammonds Plains end of the Kearney Lake Road.There are two time slots available per night (6:00 PM & 7:15 PM). The cost per player is $50.00, payable at the first clinic.
The focus of the clinics is to teach proper hitting mechanics, with an emphasis on conveying to the athletes the reasons behind the techniques taught.
The first night will concentrate on covering the fundamentals of a good swing. A limited amount of actually hitting balls is done in week one. We want to focus on building a foundation for the remaining sessions where the athletes will be broken in groups to work at various stations, to allow for a lot of swings. One of the stations will be a pitching machine.
Batting gloves are a good choice for weeks 2 to 6 to keep the blisters at bay.
